Just around the corner from the famed Carnegie Hall, the Carnegie Cinema eventually became a “Revival Theater.”  In the 90’s it went through a series of closings and re-openings, but then closed for good in Oct. 1997.  It was gutted and turned into a 599 seat concert space called Zankel Hall.
