The Paris Theater is the largest remaining single screen theater in NYC with 571 seats.  Closing in 2019, it was also the longest running arthouse cinema in NY.  Upon its closure, Netflix purchased the Paris and closed it again during the pandemic.  It reopened in 2021, closing again for technical upgrades.  It now features elite film premiers prior to becoming part of Netflix’s streaming services.
