The UA East came along in March 1970 where it survived for 42years.  A single screen survivor, it gained popularity as a “charming neighborhood dive” of Yorkville.  Sources have told me it was not uncommon to encounter a rat.  The UA East was replaced by a sporting goods store which remains today.
